On November 15, Futura took part in the session “Collaboration in Creative Industries: Opportunities in Animation and Video Games”, held as part of the World of Opportunities International Business Forum at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai.
The session brought together leaders from across the creative sector — from animation studios and game developers to government representatives, accelerators, and cultural hubs.
Alexandra Kurdyumova, co-founder of Futura Digital, joined the panel to share insights on legal and tax frameworks in the UAE and discuss the challenges and opportunities for relocated studios and cross-border production.
The discussion focused on:
- co-production potential in animation and games
- cross-cultural storytelling and local content
- talent development and education initiatives
- the role of creative clusters in Moscow, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi
- government support and public–private collaboration
It was a vibrant and timely conversation about how creative industries can become a true bridge between cultures — and a driver of innovation, export, and growth.
We're proud to be part of this dialogue and excited to keep building connections between creative ecosystems across borders.
